Body Shop Honey Brilliance Powder

Body Shop's honey bronze make-up range in my opinion, is one of the main body shop make-up ranges, and below is the honey bronze brilliance powder, which I have been using for a while now.

The bronzing powder comes with its own brush, and there is a slider (not sure if there is a technical name for this) to make putting the cap over the brush easier, which I like. The brush is very soft, although some strands are uneven, none have fallen out yet. It's probably hard to see from the photographs, but there are some traces of glitter on the brush.

To be honest, it took me a while to understand how to use this, for some reason, it seemed self explanatory in the store, but when I got home, I was bamboozled by this bronzing tool and then realized that the powder is supposed to come out by it self onto the brush. Sometimes when there isn't enough powder on the brush, i just give it a good shake and then its all good. The application is fairly even, and I wouldn't say that you get a lot more glitter where you first apply and less later on. There is also a fair amount of powder in the tube, and this will last me quite a while, which is great as well.

The formula of the powder is a mix of tan coloured powder, and light shimmery specks. It is a brilliance powder, so it isn't meant for the face, but sometimes I give my face a light dusting with it, especially before a party. I also like how this powder is shimmery, but doesnt leave your face overly disco-ball esque, and gives you more of a holiday glow.

I think this one is great for a party! I definitely will give myself a little touch up of this before heading out, have you tried anything from the Body Shop Honey Bronzing range?

  2. I love this! I love that it has glitter in it too, to really make sure you're glowing! In fact, when I was younger my Mum used to own one of these (though it wasn't glittery)...and I remember getting into her make up kit and trying it...but I wasn't too sure what I was doing and ended up with a face fulllll of powder haha!

  3. My mother has a similar bronzer from The Body Shop and I used it a few times to dust it over my shoulders and cheeks for an extra glow before a party. I think hers as a clicking system to get some powder out though.

  10. I love the look of this, it's very similar to Lancôme's star bronzer, which I find a little too orange but always love the handy built in brush. So il be checking this out next time I'm passing a Bodyshop! x

  11. It looks really similar to the one from Lancôme, so pretty! I really like to add some bronzer glow for summer, specially when I'm going out. Also I apply it on the cleavage for a nice shimmer effect. Kisses!
