Boscia Detoxifying Black Cleanser

Whenever I make a purchase on Sephora.com, I always grab a couple of samples to try out. I've had this Boscia cleanser for a long while, and its time ;)

As you can see (and probably tell by the name), it is a black coloured cleanser. The formula is very gel-like and quite thick as well. It lathers nicely into a white foam on your face, and has a plant/herb smell ( I can't get closer than that haha). I really liked how cooling this cleanser is and the refreshed feeling I got after I used it, definitely one for those tired mornings.

It also cleaned off the oil on my face without making my skin feel tight, which is a bonus, as alot of the cleansers I used to use would strip all of the oil from my face, making moisturizing my face a necessary step. I also noticed less oil later on in the day after using this. However, I did not see much improvement with the size of my pores after using this, and was a tad dissappointed on that front.

Overall, this product is really good for sensitive skin, because the formula is so gentle (and paraben free, might I add). I really like the scent, though I don't imagine it to be for everyone, but it is really refreshing! Do you have a product that helps to give you a refresher or boost in the morning?

  7. Honestly the colour of this cleanser just has me wanting to get it to try it myself! I'm a big fan of Boscia's cleansing oil. I use it every night to remove my makeup and then just follow up with a second cleanser. I never thought I'd be into the double cleanse but Boscia converted me xx

  11. The sheer fact it's black has me interested and the refreshing herbal white foam transformation really does sound appealing. I'm trying to learn more about cleansers and moisturisers, so thanks for the info! :)
